Bronze Casting

During the third week, we focused on designing a chair using runners for casting bronze, emphasizing sustainability and lightweight design principles. Collaborating with two other designers, we created a three-legged chair that showcased minimal material usage and structural efficiency.

To reinforce and highlight the connections between the bronze runners, we incorporated knots as both a functional and symbolic element. These knots emphasized the importance of the joints in the overall design while adding a decorative quality.
